Tracy Uzoigwe

I am a Cognitive Neuroscience PhD Candidate at  the Sleep and Cognition Lab (PI: Sara Mednick), Department of Cognitive Sciences, UC Irvine. I investigate how sleep shapes memory, emotion, and brain health across natural biological contexts, especially across the menstrual cycle and during motor learning.

My research sits at the intersection of sleep physiology, affective neuroscience, and women’s brain health, with the goal of translating laboratory insights into meaningful improvements in everyday functioning.
